Pupil Premium at Stonehill

The aim of the Early Years Pupil Premium is to close the gap between children from disadvantaged backgrounds and their peers by providing funding to early years providers to help them raise the quality of their provision (DfE).

The Early Years Pupil Premium provides an extra 53 pence per hour on top of the free entitlement for three and four old children, whose parents are in receipt of certain benefit(s) or who have been in care or adopted from care. This means an extra £302 a year for each child taking up the full 570 hours funded entitlement to early education.
